The Bar-B-Q fund raiser for the Cliff Jordan Continuing Education Center was a huge success and a great blessing. Thanks to the support and generosity of our Smyrna First United Methodist family and our wonderful community, we raised almost $3,000, which will meet our textbook expenses for the first term of 2023!
THANK YOU, Garry Harvil, for the excellent BBQ and my favorite, Brunswick stew! And thanks to the many volunteers who made this event such a huge success; Karen, Marty, Kevin, Carole, Donna, Eric, Steve, Alan, Andrew and so many others. Also, many thanks to the Cookies for Christ team for the wonderful sweets.
I know Cliff was smiling on us all and is humbled – as am I – by your kindness, support and generosity. Your support will help so many people in our community gain the skills and knowledge they need to be successful. And more importantly, to know the love of Jesus and strengthen their relationship with Him.
